The Oklahoma City Thunder have signed 22-year old shooting guard Alex Abrines.  He was a second round pick (#32 overall) in the 2013 NBA Draft by the Thunder.  Abrines played in 52 games in two leagues last year overseas and he averaged 19.6 minutes, 9.6 points, 2.2 rebounds and 1.1 assists per game.  He played in 230 games in his five years overseas and he averaged 16.9 minutes, 7.2 points, 1.6 rebounds and 0.8 assists per game.  He shot 45.6% from the floor, 39.6% from three point range and 83.3% from the free throw line in his career overseas.  If the Thunder let Dion Waiters leave in free agency, Abrines could have a really good shot at being Victor Oladipo‘s top backup during the 2016-17 season.
